Madness ekes by Drunkards 19-17
The Drunkards looked better every week they played and had become the favorite underdog. Along with rising sentiment, they also built up a mighty tolerance most teams would be foolish to try and match. The Madness was lost until halfway through the third quarter when they stopped playing slow drunk ball and showed the natural craziness that helped them dominate the early rounds. "There were times we looked downright sane out there, but we overcame those difficulties and showed our true colors by the end," Mattman said of the turnaround.
Paranoia prevails over Crap 30-28
This game was brutal from the outset. Both sides dished out insults, random theories, and utter nonsense. There were several times when it was difficult for fans to figure out how each team scored. A back and forth game throughout with neither team able to get ahead by more than a touchdown. Down by one at the end of the game, the Paranoia took a desperation kick and the Crap just wasn't high enough to block it. Both Lisa and Aaron refused to comment on the outcome, and the teams stayed in their respective locker rooms for three days after the contest was over.
