This album is intended to be a homage to the sample-driven hip-hop of the late 80s, and since these songs sample the members of the collective itself, there ought to be no legal issues. While I think the folks who like this will find Tilted interesting, I'm not sure that river flows backward. This is a totally different sonic space.

And one I like better. The creativity and imagination exhibited here are breathtaking. Each song has its own arc, and all are connected more by the electronic palette than by any particular musical thread. It's one thing to chop stuff up and see what happens. It's quite another to whip up an entirely new (and sumptuous) confection.

It helps to have a mind that is in two places at once. This is a great brain scrubber. It'll clear out the cobwebs and give a fine tune up for the faculties. Dive in, and the rewards are endless.
