7/6/20:
Up the amperage

Six songs. Not quite seventeen minutes. An almost inexhaustible rack of riffs. Territories is more straightforward rock than, say, Pegboy, but the brutish delivery of these giddily-enthusiastic shout-alongs leads me right back to that brand of chock-a-block punk.

Territories
When the Day Is Done 10"
(Pirate's Press)

One of the first releases I've heard that specifically confronts Covid-19 pandemic issues, this short set is certainly timely. And the band seems to have somehow tightened up whatever loose bolts might have been rattling within its debut album.

And yeah, if you're like a neighbor of mine who was in a Naked Raygun cover band in high school back in the late 80s, you're gonna have to take care not to OD. I think five or six times on repeat just might be a bit too much, especially at the volume required.

Or maybe not. Desperate times demand desperate measures. Territories is happy to supply the adrenaline to get through whatever you're facing. Just make sure your speakers can handle the load.
