About the only thing I can say about this act with any confidence is that it is Israeli. As to members of the band (I do think this is a band and not one person), who knows? That's okay. A little mystery is a good thing.

Saccadic Eye Motion Limão (Schwarz Neon Licht)

I didn't know that experimental shoegaze was a thing, but I'm kinda happy it is. Saccadic Eye Motion adds some nice distortion and general trippiness to the usual showgaze shuffle, and the results are intriguing. Without the extras, I don't think I'd stick around.

The album title is "lemon" in Portuguese. I can't say that brings me any closer to puzzling out much of anything. I'm pretty sure that doesn't matter. This album is about the journey, and the sounds that move that journey along.

Nothing groundbreaking or particularly innovative. The noise on the edges is a nice touch, and the overall package kept me rapt to the end. Intriguingly hypnotic.
